The album of Rusty Cooley is the album of a large guitarist. Its music
turns around its play of guitar, of course excellent. But, it is also
necessary to record quality of the compositions. Its major influence is
without any doubt Yngwie Malmsteen. From the beginning, that starts very
extremely. "Under The Influence" is a superb piece full with
different colors. Undoubtedly the best of this opus. While being very
technical, Rusty Cooley can also vary the styles. One passes thus from
the rock'n'roll to the jazz-rock'n'roll while passing by the hard rock
with sometimes of the traditional influences. "Dark Matter"
and "War Of The Angles" are two beautiful examples. In this
vice of notes, it can also be melody. It is in particular the case with
"Jazzmine' S Song". Lastly, one will note two no-claims bonus
tracks which is versions sung of two titles already present on this instrumental
album. The amateurs of large technicians of the guitar, Malmsteen way,
will adore this opus played with full with sensitivity by Mr Rusty Cooley.
