Lucifer's Licks - Chops from Hell.com

With its Impossibly fast multi-positioned A minor arpeggios, this site's "Shred Guitar Manifesto" is down right scary. Chops from Hell showcases dozens of other formidable etudes, and each is described in text, demonstrated in tab, and accompanied by an onscreen video and/or audio file. Exercises are found in "CFH Online Columnist." The online columns, including such as

"Don't fear the Sweeper and "Shred form the Dead," are brought to you by an intimidating-looking axeman. Guest columns feature a variety of international six-stringers, including Magnus Nordh (EMI Japan) and Rusty Cooley, composer of the shred guitar manifesto. While Chops form Hell's musical figures are outstanding, the notation is inconsistent, with their lack of standard notation, many examples look a bit unprofessional. Figures that include rhythmic values as part of their tab notation are cluttered. Some Examples have standard notation, but are missing significant details, such as time and key signatures. Gripes aside, Chops from Hell should help you achieve scary, pick-melting speed.
