by Rusty Cooley

Today's topic is minor 9 and minor/major 9 arpeggios. These arpeggios are to be played totally legato with the addition of two taps on the 5th, 3rd, and 1st strings. When you see two taps played in a row this is executed by using the middle finger and the ring finger of the right hand (this will be reversed descending). Notice that on the 2nd and 4th strings there is only one note. This note is to be hammered not picked. The only note that is actually picked is the first. So take it slow and make sure that each arpeggio is totally memorized before applying speed. See you next time.
